Recently got an opportunity to visit Rukminidevi Arundel’s Kalakshetra foundation at Chennai. It was a dream come true as I wanted to visit it since a long time. One thought which stayed in my mind was people might come and go but the institutions they build stay longer. Rukmini ji became immortal not only through her dance as an artist but as an institution builder spreading the knowledge and continuing the legacy. Salute to her dedication and vision. 🙏
